Admissions Requirements

  • Graduation from a high school accredited by the state accrediting agency, or a passing score on an approved high school equivalency exam such as HiSET or GED. Students who complete their secondary education through homeschooling or at unaccredited secondary schools may be admitted as long as they have satisfactorily met equivalent requirements consistent with accredited schools or approved equivalency exams.
  • Academics
    A 2.0 cumulative high school grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Turn 18 before the end of the first semester of attendance
  • Able to function independently in a remote rural environment

Deadline: We do not have an application deadline, but evaluate on a first come, first served basis.

Step 2: Acceptance Decision

If accepted, a student will receive an acceptance letter via email and the postal service.  This will include a financial calendar and the Student Living Guide (important read).

Step 3: Registration Deposit

After acceptance, sign the financial agreement online and pay the $350 registration deposit.  A spot is not guaranteed until the $350 registration deposit is received in the MWSB office or online.  Once received, you will receive your placement confirmation.
